Hello, readers! My name is Emily Watson, and I am a massive nerd. Yeah. You didn't guess from the title. Or the book posts. Or my Goodreads account.... Or my frequent merch (let's be real, Em, they're toys) posts.
I live in Western Australia, where the weather is mild and the chances of natural disasters are low. I'm nineteen, currently unemployed (much to my own annoyance) and attend Edith Cowan University. I'm a full-time uni student, studying Secondary Education majoring in English and minoring in Social Sciences. I have a little brother, Jake Matthew, and we occupy the same living space as our parents and two pet cats (the ones who really run the show around here).
I started this blog primarily as a way to get my feelings out of my head. I've struggled for a long time with my thoughts and feelings, feeling alone and that nobody would understand why. So I thought I'd keep a diary. Only I know I'd forget to write in it. It'd last a week, tops. Plus, there's all that worry about whether or not my family members will see it lying around and read it, and it wouldn't really help with my feeling alone, would it? Because the world is such a big place I thought I'd start a sort of hobby journal on here, where I'm sure I won't be alone. I'll write what I feel like writing when I feel like it. More often than not, it'll be about books, because I love them. I'll write about my family life, past experiences, opinions, random thoughts, post pictures, pretty much whatever. I've organised the blog into sections with the little bar up top, so if my personal life doesn't really float your boat you can just toggle through the selection up there. I don't have the energy or the drive to maintain separate blogs for all my interests, so this will have to do.
